This is a noise i found while listening to a recorded track that i thought sounded interesting, so i worked with it for a bit, eliminated all the extraneous noise, and amplified it to max volume without (unwanted) distortion.
Smoke detector test noise, recorded roughly 20cm from mic without room reflections. Fundamental frequency: ca. 3373 hzovertones: ca. 6743 hz; 10111 hz, 13482 hz. Taped a pair of jrf c-series contact mics on a small, very quiet wristwatch to see if i could get a good signal. Pleasantly surprised by the result. Removed the quartz hum and de-noised in rx 7.
Slightly resonant clanging and pinging of me hitting the metal stairs of a reviewing stand used in a local parade. The mic is held very close to the surface, so there is very little environmental noise.

Apple imac is a silent computer. I don't hear almost any noise from it, but i tried giving a microphone-sweep over the screen, which surprised me. You can hear various kinds of noise in a close audition. A dynamic mic.

Found a big bush covered in white flowers with loads of bees buzzing all over it. Some good buzz noises here but unfortunately quite a bit of mic handling noise and the sound of the leaves brushing against the mic as i pushed it in close to try and stir up the bees a bit. Luckily i didn't get stung!.
An exercise thing which you squeeze that makes a loud creaking noise, sounds interesting pitched down. Recorded with a mid-sides mic setup. Mics used were akg 414, and an oktava mk-012-01 pencil condenser.
